National Dish
Try the Breadfruit Oil Down, it is the national dish of Grenada. It is a simple, finger licking good dish. which is extremely popular at local “cook-ups”,
Grenada’s national dish is made with salted meat, (pig tails) along with vegetables, coconut milk and onion, carrot, celery, breadfruit and dasheen stew with dumplings.
Oil Down is full of flavor and spice, it really illustrates the way heat itself adds to the flavour of a dish. It’s one messy dish! but I really could not tell you what it’s besides delicious. It is a hearty one-pot meal.
